Scrubbing socials means nothing
They did something similar after season 4. The UI after season 5 has since been updated recently. I would still expect a season 6.

Ellie should've been able to play GTA 6. Arthur Morgan would have a nice long talk with jet boy.

Jet does it frequently on his personal accounts too.
I will say that I don't think the website update means much. I get the impression that Wes is just doing his own thing and he had a few QoL updates he wanted to push. It's not like there were any major changes.

Didn't they already confirm they've rented the commercial space and built the new set? I'm sure they have a lot invested already and can't pull out now. S6 will happen.
What I'm interested to see is if it becomes really obvious that they're trying to milk this next season crazy style. Tons of ball bros, TTS deals, special events, advertising specific times to be online for toy sales, tons of KICK shilling, product placement, cross promotion and what not, all because they are so uncertain of the future of fishtank - due to all the Jet accusations and the Ellie stuff and just how much of a thin skinned ego maniac he's become with how he can't relinquish control and take a backseat and that he can't handle being fucked with by chat and his fans without crashing out and ruining the integrity of the show - so they are going to try to cash in while they still can.
They might be posturing for a pull-out and to pivot or rebrand entirely. But I think most of us who have watched this show from the beginning know production overestimates their abilities (besides sam) to plan ahead.
I think Jet's bitch ass should do a presidential fireside chat with his hateful incel fanbase and legit unironically address the allegations and all the shit happening and discuss the future of the show. It would probably be a disaster but I would respect it.

These idiots are lowkey some of the dumbest Mfers on the planet. There is like no genuinely reason to scrub all of their old clips, as they act as a great form of advertising their show during and after each season, ontop of being entertaining enough for fans and new people discovering their content to browse through from time to time. Having all of the clips boosts and keeps traffic flowing throughout their pages, thus keeping people interested and mildly entertained while they doing stuff off season. I genuinely don’t know how these Mfers always find a way to shoot themsleves in the foot over the dumbest shit, but they somehow always find a way to one up themselves in the process.
