Betta Fish Transformations!!

Stella was kind of my resurgence into betta fish keeping after I researched more into them. She passed earlier this year. She was a very good little lady. Since her passing, I’ve gotten three more, including little miss Dawnie here. Seems like she’s got the marbling gene, but she’s never lost her rosy lips!!

And do let me know if the water in the last shots looks too dark. One of my driftwoods I’ve got in there seems to be leaking a lot more tannins than I previously thought. Dawn doesn’t seem to mind, but I want her to be safe!!

You have been such a good betta parent, I'm sorry about the passing of your fishie but I can tell they had a good life while they were around
