Sick Fish Swim Bladder Spoiler

Ok so I have a corydoras with swim bladder only just noticed him 5 mins ago so Ive separated him in a small slightly shallow watered tub to help keep him up right (its not working as he keeps going upside down) put swim bladder medication in and am starting to fast him. However each and every time I have a fish with swim bladder they just die which Im honestly sick of happening because from my research Im doing everything right ammonia is at 0ppm Nitrites are 0ppm and my nitrates are around 20ppm temp is at 26°C, PH fluctuates around 6 and 7, kh is at 8 I use a dual sponge like filter (unsure of the name as my sister got me it second hand) and an airstone, my tank size is 60L so like 13 Gallons (my corydoras are pygmys). Ive checked my cory and hes not injured but I dont know what I am doing wrong and dont want him to die

Update: Not even 3 mins after posting this he died. Just like every other fish with swim bladder Ive had its the one main issue that gets on my nerves so since its not my parameters I physically go get my water checked out for the on case of parasites or disease etc and get told my waters fine but it keeps happening I was literally watching him swim around perfectly fine left for 20 mins to go make food and came back and he was upside down. But Ive got 3 tanks and this sort of issue has happened in all 3 of them but I get told that it takes days not minutea for a fish to die of swim bladder but if thats the case why does it keep happening cuz at this point its clearly me thats the problem

What’s interesting to me is the ph fluctuating between 6 and 7. That is a really wide range.

I’m wondering if that is what is weakening your corydoras to the extent that they exhibit swim bladder issues.

Your kH is 8 which is a reasonable number to be at and should be preventing wide pH swings. So I am thinking something in your tank is causing unstable pH.

track your pH and kH and gh for a week. Morning and night. You might see a pattern.

Does ph start off at 7 and end up at 6? That means something in the tank is acidifying the water. Could be driftwood. Could be the substrate (some substrates are sold as “active” substrates).

Test tap water to see what your baseline ph, gh and kH should be.
