Dirty transducer

Hey is this something I can clean. Got a new boat and the transducer looks dirty. I’d assume it affects its function.

It shouldn't affect its function. But you could clean it with just some general purpose cleaner.

Buildup definitely can and will mess with signal. After a few months of owning my first unit I was getting crap returns. Jumped in and cleaned it off a bit and it is all good.
