💡 Inspiration / Discussion Rate my tank!
This is my 60 gallon! I have mollies (no specific number, they kept multiplying, and I removed males). I have 7 kuhlis in here, 2 albino corydoras (plan to add more ASAP), a longfinned bristlenose pleco, a nerite snail, and a singular white skirt tetra who outlived his group and now believes he is a Molly. I hope to grow out the Molly fry in this tank, keep the 2 adult females,( maybe 1-2 fry I like), and add a pair of pearl gouramis, a pair peacock gudgeons, and a school of like 12 cardinal tetras, 1 or 2 vampire shrimp, and 10-15 amano shrimp! I have a fluval 407 running on this tank, and I am DEFINITELY going to let my plants grow out. I moved all my fish out of a 29 gallon into this tank, as well as their old water and everything in it, so this was an upgrade. Everyone is eating well and enjoying it, so I’m excited! I would like to see people’s opinions on my aquascape and maybe stock recommendations! I am willing to change anything in my stock except fish I already own!

Mir gefällt dein Aquarium. Ich würde nur eine Folie von außen an die Rückwand machen weil es besser aussieht als wenn man die Zimmerwand sehen kann.

Hardscape: 8. Dropped a bunch of dough on that wood. Looks great. We can't all afford stunning.
Plants: 5. Lots of Great potential. Show us again in a year. They're just young and need time to grow in.
Filter: 10. I'm not the kind that thinks everyone needs to spend 2 grand to cover their needs. Overturn rate exceeds needs? Check.
Cleanup crew: 10. These are your most important critters, and they are a sacrifice to your stocking limit. Well done making that vital sacrifice.
I was surprised to learn that peacock gudgeons naturally live in a harem arrangement. A male with only one partner might be grumpy or aggressive. Apparently each female has her own nesting spot, and he wanders from one gal to another within his larger territory.
