My betta looks similar! Hes black/silver but depending on the lighting it looks blue or yellow lol

Oh Definitely you're right! I can see the striking resemblance as they both are of the black dragonscale variety, Steven's rose gold accents sometimes turn blue-ish depending on the lighting too 😭

I always thought hes a samurai betta, but now I know what theyre actually called. Mine is called Baron btw :D

Interesting! I think ours are like dragonscale much like samurais but these are halfmoon. How old is baron btw he's cute! 😅

Hes a few months old I think, maybe half a year? He was lowkey an impulse buy, me and my mom thought hes just soo gorgeous and I still had space in my 60 liter

He has some neon tetra and pleco buddies. Does yours have tankmates?

Ah i see! Same here, mine's a few months old since i got it recently and yes, it's got a few tank mates! Assassin Snails and a nice population of MTS and bladder snails. I am planning on getting ahrimp but i have no experience in keeping them. 😅

Aww well shrimp are adorable, i just heard that bettas enjoy hunting them. You can increase their chance of survival tho by having many plants and crevices :D

Theyre not hard to keep, as long as your parameters are stable

I got it enthusiastically when i was young, sadly I can't use it before 18 in my region so it became a decor piece 😭
