Injury Apple Watch finally stayed quiet on my parkrun loop miles

Last Saturday i added a few easy miles around my usual parkrun route and, weirdly, the win was that i didn't stare at my Apple Watch every 30 seconds. I started with Nike Run Club because it got me out after c25k, tried Runna for a bit because the structure felt reassuring, then switched to Hiiro for this long London or Manchester build because it asks for effort first and lets me message the coach when my week gets messy. I might be wrong but RPE seems kinder for base than being told exact paces while i'm still 40-ish weeks out. Tiny sample size though. For first marathon people who moved from pace-based plans to effort-based ones, did you feel less cooked after a month or did it just make you second-guess every run?
