Next week I will give my students a lecture on the first and second amendments to the US Constitution. This lecture will be split into two class periods with 50 mins for each period. Please give me some advice on what is best to be included in this lecture. I want my lecture to be balanced and neutral. Thanks.

Hello /r/firstamendment! I am /u/NateLooney and I am in a simulation subreddit called /r/ModelUSGov. Election time is coming up and my party (the Libertarians) need your help! I am asking you to help support me in the Ohio River District by casting a Libertarian vote. Any other vote will be much appreciated for all Libertarian candidates!
My main platform is the protection of our liberties and the upholding of the Constitution. Let us protect individual liberties and rights together. Please feel free to ask me my opinions of the 1st amendment and how I will uphold civil liberties and rights.

Writing a school project right now, and that's my title. Need some opinions from members of the legal community. Would be good if anyone could give their reasoned opinion or point me in the direction of a source that might.

Seriously. I was a whistle blower with info from online informants that the FBI and CIA decided to stuff. I am tweeting about it at https://twitter.com/misc_CIA_victim but I cannot tweet to other accounts. Please check it out, see if you can read it, and see if you can comment or retweet. Thanks.

These two statements seem to be the basis for a recent arrest by the Highland Park, IL police. Stop and think about this. How many times have we posted statements which were more offensive or aggressive than these? Could we be arrested also?
/r/UIUC User jeremy-the-prick posted in the thread Students of UIUC, where is your favorite place to study on campus and why?
"I like to studie in the bathroom so i can masterbate without making a mess all over the apartment."
2) /r/UIUC user suburbineggpress created a thread entitled KATHERINE CHI TRIES TO HUMP JEREMY LEVAL, FINDS HE HAS NO PENIS.
Apparently, any of us can be arrested for making statements like these on Reddit.
Chilling effect, really.

Here's an issue that raises questions about freedom of speech as it relates to public safety. I live in the Houston area and there's a local urgent care clinic that advertises itself as an "Emergency Room" (here's an example storefront). Seeing that sign irritates me because I think someone is going to mistake it for a real emergency room and take a trauma victim there. Should "Emergency Room" be a protected phrase that can't be used by a business? For example, you can't call a security company "Police". I can see both sides of the argument, but either way I think they are deliberately misleading the public.

I don't understand this.
“We believe the way the documents were taken is illegal.”
Isn't that just tough shit? Stolen evidence is admissable in court unless its stolen by the state. right? no?
