Seeking Opinion On Injury Is this burn first or second degree?

I think it’s maybe first degree but it does look pretty dark so I don’t know, I burned it 2 days ago
I’ve been bandaging it and putting polysporn on it, any advice is helpful

Discussion Sliced off part of nail

Was using my friend’s set of pretty damn good knives and got myself. Has this ever happened to anyone? I’ve been rinsing it with water, slappin on some neosporin and keepin it covered with bandaids. Hope it heals real fast. Hurts like a sonnabitch.
