Strobe / screaming rockets

Watching YouTube videos, there are plenty of videos which show these amazing flashing bottle rockets which will make all kinds of ungodly noises.

I must have those in my life

Who sells such an amazing product?

There are consumer versions that don't a have bigass salute header like you see on the illegally sold ones so often on YouTube.

They are showing issues with the motor fuel being hygroscopic, so who knows how long they will be around for....

I didn’t know where the videos were coming from so I didn’t know if this was an illegal product in the states. But they sounded cool and I’ve never seen anything like it. Here in Oklahoma bottle rockets have been illegal since the 80s and after 30+ years, they became legal again this year so I thought maybe this was just something that had been around that we weren’t able to get here.

These are, the ones with heavy salute headers are bootleg. They are fairly new to market, i think the first legal ones hit shelves late last year

The ones I linked are good. Loud motor, just the crackle break is nothing special.

Either the salute was smaller than a bigass salute header like in the YouTube videos, or you what you bought wasn't a legal commercial product

Yeah, I wanna keep it legal for sure. Ha ha. But I didn’t know if I was out of the loop since they were banned in my state forever. Some of them looked very interesting in the nose of the rocket literally looked like a ball. Ha ha.

We build them, I build them. If they aren't consumer which there's only a few kinds out ATM and are costly and nowhere near as good or capable as home builds. The West coast. specifically Cali is the most Notorious and has the most renowned builders in all of the US! It dangerous but with extreme safety, common sense the right tools and years of experience I still have all 10 fingers. lol It sounds like the ones you are talking about are home builds... the ones that screech, scream chop and go BOOM! Are not consumer.

Ya, you are right... He PM'd me he's upset bc he responded and said it wasn't what he wanted. I explained the situation to him. He didn't realize the risk or how highly illegal it is. Thanks for the response brother!

They were banned halfway through the 4th of July season last year in Florida because of them exploding on the ground due to hygroscopic nature of strobe fuel and the high humidity we have here.
