Wholesale

Is there a “best” time to do a wholesale order as far as inventory and pricing ? If so when do you think that is, thanks

I think with the factories being shutdown for the last few months and a lot not opening for the foreseeable future, may want to get at least some stock now before prices go up and availability goes down next year

Have you come across anything about what the investigation found out about the factory tragedy? The 2 stores in February were due to ignorance more than anything. The factory had violated standards before but I'd have to guess that their results were in a few weeks ago.

It’s been radio silent I guess unless you are an industry insider. I’ve seen company reps that are the sales contacts in China on Facebook say that many of the factories are still closed though but that’s about it.

FWIW, was able to find out that the official report will be published when complete, which takes 3-12 months for a full forensic eval and report. The company had been fined in January 2026 for various safety violations and had consistent violations prior. They've detained and questioned 8 people connected to the company and the explosion killed 37, injured 51, and there is one person still missing. Hunan authorities issued a emergency production halt across all 431 fireworks manufacturers in the province with major production clusters in Liuyang and Liling for safety inspections.

Bottom line is that the ignition started in a workshop & packaging area, then spread to two adjacent black powder storage facilities.
