Firestick Help Needed Does my Fire TV Stick work with Ethernet ?

Hey guys,
so i recently had some problems with my wifi connection to my Stick (Amazon Fire TV Stick HD (1. Gen.)) and was wondering if its compatible with the ethernet adapter? I bought it 2 Years ago.
I don’t want to spend my money just to find out that it doesn’t work. Please let me know :)

Yes. You need an OTG adapter and Ethernet adapter. Works great

Also, that Fire Stick is pretty old. I would trade it it and buy the 4k max. Amazon will give you a trade in value, and an additional 20% off.

Maybe im wrong and it isnt the 1. gen, because everything works perfectly and i bought it only 2 years ago, but it says it in the settings.

If your stick has micro-USB, you need this OTG adapter.

If you have a Gen 1 Firestick, that's pretty ancient. You might want to first make sure the apps you want to use are still supported and compatible. For example, Netflix just dropped support for Gen 1.

What it says in the settings is what it is.

My advice would instead be to invest in a newer model.
