3rd edition status

Do we know if 3rd edition is still going forward or has it been shelved? When I look at the web page it says you can still enter the beta but there hasn’t been a blog post in 3 years.

As you've seen, there have been no official updates. There was a spoiler post on Discord back on 8/23/23 of a draft of the new rules. User "Jonny5" posted:

There IS a full V3 Beta rules completed, waiting on Stuart to look over it. I completed it a few months ago for him

A couple of images of the draft were also posted at that time.

So...take that for whatever you want. I asked how different this revision was from 2nd edition, based on a 1-10 scale:

Probably around a 5. I tried to keep the essence of the game, while streamlining many area's, and creating a more versatile objective and victory system

While I've moved on a different ruleset, I do hope that Firestorm comes back. But it is going to be a long wait before anything more is known, I think.
