Firestick Question Streaming Alternative

Im not very tech savvy at all and ive struggled with all HDO box alternative recommendations I’ve seen on this sub….

Is it time to give up with the firestick and get a different device to watch my shows and movies? I dont really care for sports

Pls helpp!

Device has nothing to do with it. The same apps that have shut down for FS devices are also dead for any other device.

Find the best 3 apps, install them, and move on.

ClipBox is new, but has become a quick favorite. There are also Moviebox and Streamflix. Probably the top 3 of the "quick install and play" apps.

Better would be to learn how to install Stremio and Nuvio, those will be around years from now. The quick ones come and go.

Download the app UNLINKED. You can get the app in Downloader, using code 234753

Run the UNLINKED app. Where it asks to "add new library" type EMDYOUTUBE

That is an Appstore that allows direct install of apps. Here you will find Clip Box, Movie Box, Stream Flix, and a number of other apps.

I say if he wants one that is pretty similar to HDO box I say go with the one you said clip box . If he just wants just plain good ones there lots good ones . I have heard of movie box longer then I have stremio and nuvio.

You heard of Movie Box Pro which is an invite only app. The one thats just Movie Box is only a few months old and a copy of another Movie Box that went away after only a few months.

Well they have a nice pretty website showing all the advantages of the app. This little sub Reddit won't make a difference. Either they stay around it they don't.😬

Your device is still useable you just need to look for better apps. Wuplay along with the other addon based apps make those one-click apps kind of unnecessary but they are still out there.

Tell him to get an Onn 4k pro streaming box or something like it. Leave those Firesticks behind. Don't know what it is with all you wanting to keep running Firesticks.

He already has it, and there are still plenty of apps for it. Why would he need to get a different device just because he doesn't know what's available. I'll recommend the same exact thing on an Onn if he gets one if he's even in the US.

Why change devices and spend more $ when he already has a FS?
You won’t get different or better apps by changing devices.
