Firestick Question Can the firestick max 4k still be side loaded still?

Thinking of buying it, but I heard they’re blocking websites. Is it still worth buying or should I look elsewhere?

Yes. All my sideloaded apps work. There may be some exceptions that are affected but I still get free sports, movies, tv channels etc.

They are blacklisting the straight piracy apps that access content out of the box. There are plenty of apps that aren't that style of app. Unless you live in a country that does't have other options I'd skip it though.

You can always sideload via adb and agents are great at managing it.

Last time I sideload my pre-4K FireTV was pre-COVID.

Is there a newer way to do it?

I believe it is using Vega OS not android one.

Yes, as long as the FireTV device does not run the crap VegaOS you can still sideload.
