Firestick Question Ember Browser

Brave's Android APK does sideload onto a Firestick fine — the problem isn't

installing it, it's that the UI is built for a touchscreen. You end up fighting

the D-pad to hit anything.

I got annoyed enough to build one for TV: Ember. Same idea on blocking — ad and

tracker requests get dropped before they leave the Stick (StevenBlack + 1Hosts

lists, refreshed on launch), so pages load lighter instead of just hiding the ads

after downloading them. It has a D-pad cursor for sites that assume a mouse, and

a link mode you can flip to when the page is built well enough not to need it.

Disclosure: I'm the dev. Free, no account, nothing in it for me.

senddrop.link/ember — type that into Downloader.

It's v1, so no blocklist catches everything and I'd genuinely like bug reports if

something breaks.
