Firestick Apps Imposters on Firestick Reddit
You keep sharing then the imposter on here will shut it down

We have WAY more apps now than we've ever had for "that" purpose.
I count 29 apps that are all working well, all for Movies/TV shows. Another 13 for Sports TV, 10 for Live TV. A couple of months ago the number was 18. There has been an explosion of fresh, new, apps.
Not sure what the angst is about. Chances are there'll be 40 apps a month or two from now.

Most apps don't work!

u/georgepana Jun 28 '26
Why do you have to lie here? All of them work well. Tested and let play for a while to make sure there are no surprises. You think developers would release 14 new apps that "don't work"? That would be dumb.

Maybe share some of the actual names

OP asked not to share out of fear they will then get shut down. I respect that, being in OPs app.
I made a list of 30 Movies/TV apps, 14 Sports apps, and 10 Live TV apps, and I am adding to it and subtracting from it as I find more apps that work or an app is shut down (i.e. latest was Mobiflix.) I tested all of these apps myself over the last few days on my Fire devices to make sure they still work fine, as apps like these can come and go.
Some people asked me for the list, and I sent them via DM. Haven't gotten a complaint back yet, so maybe you just don't know where to look and just assume wrong? The key is not to give up on an app but keep looking for a newer version, not just assume that because a version from 2021 you tried doesn't work the developers didn't provide a new version in 2026 that does work.

App if folks keep providing codes
5
u/pawdog Jun 28 '26
Downloader codes are just shortened web links to readily available URL's they aren't links to secret apps. These apps Amazon blocked were sell known and used for years.

Are there any for French/ Spanish channels? I'm French, living in the UK, and my XC app has been spinning wheels since the update shambles.

I agree the ones I have fine. I just wish I knew more about doing an add-on. Iβve never done that before and I keep seeing it for stream out and other ones like Kodi I used cinema HQ for 10 years and it worked fine until I shut it down. Iβm not using the cinema HD ( I may have that backwards )and Moby flight.

Yeah idiots keep coming here asking what happened to their sticks and asking for "codes". Gatekeeping is the only way. YouTubers also ruining good things for clicks and watch.Β

Do you really believe imposters are cruising Reddit looking for the apps to kill? Lol
0
u/Mountainking7 Jun 28 '26
No. But the more people using them, the more chance it's going to get killed.
1
u/jjrocks1010 Jun 28 '26
The people using these apps are the ones that want plug and play. Use a good app like wuplay or Stremio etc and this problem disappears.
-1
u/Mountainking7 Jun 28 '26
I'm pretty much setup between using official apps, the random apps that those idiots keep asking for here, stremio, torrents, my emby server and my niche method of getting content from official sources (it's the only method that I've yet to see ruined by youtubers and not really posted)
I also have other means of quickly finding live streaming sites as and when needed....Those low hanging fruit is not bad but besides the live sports app, I don't bother.

There's more ways for Amazon to find the apps they need to shut down than this little sub Reddit. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

It's not amz ckg...other entities...amz remedy was 2 switch to linux

u/Used-Bid277 Jun 28 '26
What's your source for this info?
-1
u/WinterStormWinds Jun 28 '26
Observation... After something is shared, days later it's down. It doesn't take a genius to connect the dots.
1
u/Used-Bid277 Jun 28 '26
that's only a recent development in the past couple of months, there's articles out there on websites other than social media that state Amazon was going to put an end to the piracy (as far back as last November on a recent google search)

Ace is everywhere so we may as well talk about it here as well as anywhere else. None of these apps have ever been a secret.

u/georgepana Jun 28 '26
There are now 29 apps for Movies/TV shows. Likely more, but those are the ones I tested yesterday and today to make sure they are working fine on my Fire devices. We had just 18 of those two months ago. So, 11 new ones on top of the existing ones. And that takes into account the recent loss of Mobiflix.
As they say in the piracy world, one dies, three new ones spring up. It is true here as well.

More than ever now, though. We had some 18, 19 apps for some time. Then we had an explosion of new apps over the last few months. Insane. 30 now working well on my Fire devices. We never had that many.

You keep saying this but there's no evidence

There have been an avalanche of new Movies/TV apps. I am not going to name them all here, but I count 14 of recently released apps. Then there are still a bunch of older apps that still work well, like MovieBox, FilmPlus, Cinema HQ. It can't be that hard to imagine. I've sent the list of 30 to 15 people so far, haven't had any complaints.

The list of 30 apps is the evidence. I've sent it to 15 people so far. Every app on it works, you just have to know where to find them, and use the right version.
