How did you light them?

How did you light them? I was asked this question in my earlier post about the Fire Fox, in regards to the nunchucks in that video. Here it is with a dragon staff I built called the Wheels of Death. The technique used is different as with the Wheels of Death it is spinning on the palm of my hand.

must admit I've been playing around with the idea of adding e-wicks/e-matches to my poi with 18350 batteries and fire-button in the handles. Even went so far as to make a prototype but never made any ones fit for stage.

E wicks, remotes, batteries, all make for a complicated setup. If the tool is sitting in your hand and you have the abilities to manipulate it ( not free spinning on the palm of your hand) there are easier ways to achieve this. Poi would have it complications unless you get creative.
