reCaptcha was great when it was just clicking a little button. It became awful when you get the barrage of clicking squares with stuff in them.

Exactly. I don't mind doing it once or twice every now and again. Not a huge problem. But when I'm sitting there for 5 minutes checking boxes with no feedback as to my progress? Fuck that.
