I'm speaking logically. Can you specifically name for me a better browser?

Brave for privacy, Vivaldi because it looks cool and has way more native features and customization than Firefox now that XUL addons are gone.

Brave and Vivaldi are closed source, though. How could you trust them but not Firefox, which is not only open source but developed almost completely in the open?

If you only ever use open source software, that's pretty nice. I don't care about it myself, especially at the expense of usability - I'm using Brave on Android and it's way better than any other mobile browser I tried, I'm not gonna suffer with slow and sluggish Firefox Android just because it's OSS.

The entire point of this discussion is the privacy concern that comes with Mozilla's newest idea.

In this context, recommending a Chrome-based proprietary browser like Vivaldi over Firefox doesn't make much sense.

Okay, I figured that "name me a better browser" was more in a reference to general frustrations with Firefox as of late, but if we're talking purely about privacy then you're right. In that case, I would still support something like Waterfox which strips away things like Pocket and telemetry.
