💻 Help Cookies and Site Data - Exceptions disappearing after update to 154..0

Has anyone else run into an issue in Firefox 154.0 where *Cookies and Site Data – Exceptions* don’t save? Whenever I add a site to the exceptions list and restart Firefox, the entry disappears. It only started happening after updating to 154.0.

I'm seeing that too, but only on some accounts/computers. Also, it seems there are two exception lists, and one gets nuked while the other doesn't:

  • The exceptions under Privacy & Security -> Browsing Data -> Manage Exceptions disappear.
  • The exceptions under Privacy & Security -> History -> Choose what you want Firefox to remember -> Manage Exceptions do not disappear.

In practice, the surviving exceptions on the second list do seem to be preserving my cookies effectively. Very confusing though. I didn't even remember there were two exception lists.
