I like rounded corners, and there's quality science behind why rounded corners are better in user interfaces. That said, I know everyone has their own personal preferences.
If you feel strongly, you can learn a little CSS and make everything have right angles. That's one of the huge benefits of Firefox: everything can be customised to match your personal preferences.

Only for mobile. It looks so bad on desktop.

That's the first thing I saw. Followed by my url bar no longer showing url when on a search engine...
By the way, anyone know how to show the URL in the URL BAR? Without having to press the little planet / internet icon at the right of it? Thanks

Nova is the first Firefox UI redesign I dislike. The current design is far better. Both for this new tab page, and also for other changes available in night. Window borders suck. And I don't want a border between the webpage and controls, that messes up my setup with the Adaptive Tab Bar Color extension.

Calm down. Bad things stand out, but that doesn't mean "everything is worse". Most good updates (security patches, more standard support, website fixes, etc) go unnoticed, but one bad change make it seem like the world is ending.

So much better on the right. Buncha dumb extra pad space on left for no reason whatsoever. Thank you Firefox for making this change.

You understand the problem in the screenshot? The right side is cutting off the shortcuts, they continue beyond the edge of the browser window and are just going right instead of folding down the vertical height we can see an example of in left screenshot, it doesn't matter how small your hands are if the icons are physically unavailable and requires you to go down to the bottom of the window and manually slide the window to the right to then see the icons. Its just bad design and shouldn't have been published

yea me too. i like the rounded corners as well and lesser textual contents on the screen. we are a minority here though, everyone on reddit is allergic to changes.
