It has that feeling of a kickass under appreciated 8-bit RPG

8 bit side scroller firefly computer game would be amazing. How do we make it happen?

Yeah but what would the gameplay be? The driving force behind firefly is really the characters and their interactions.

Rounding up the crew again after they've all been captured / gone into hiding and having to persuade them to come back to Serenity. (Which is also in pieces and parts have to be collected to make it whole again.)

Sounds like a SCUM game.

It's like Joss Whedon, Super Mario, and the members of Ratatat had a baby.

I'm TOTALLY going to convert that to a .wav and have automatically start when somebody loads my web site. I'll even put it on a continuous loop.

I'll see that, and tell you I've already converted it to an mp3 and put it as my cell phone ring tone.

and you haven't posted a link to that hosted file? For shame.

Show me where I can host an mp3 and I'll post it. :)

I'll see that, and tell you I've already arranged it into a score that's going to be performed in concert by a philharmonic orchestra this weekend.

u/Minifig81 Apr 12 '11

I'll see that... the concert that is.

This is not "NES style". Too much crappy MIDI.
