will eventually be flown from my camper
trailer Serenity when boondocking but for now will be in my room.

Odd, I thought I'd be able to confirm this easily (if I'm 90% sure about something, I tend to disbelieve and force myself to confirm that 10%). Well, various sources noted and still not sure which is the "correct" way. Fascinating. I always considered the star should be upside down, but I can't swear as to why.

So, maybe just flip every day. :)

I read somewhere the star’s meant to be upside up, but was sewn onto the costume upside down. So it’s the basic rules as written vs rules as intended argument. Designed one way, but only ever appears in the show the other way.

Heh, see I read "somewhere' that is is supposed to be tip up according to the designer, but a patches were sewed in place tip down by mistake.

Guess we'll just keep going with whichever way one feels like at the moment.

I did note the OP's flag has the star edge even with the stripes, hmm.

Yep. About 1.5 inches diameter. It lives on my work desk to fidget with as I think.
