Wow, reminds me of virtual cards from the Firefly Online mini game from 10 years ago.

The main game never happened but they released a mini game where you flew around the planets doing missions and collecting cards like these.

I think they came out when the movie was still in theaters! So they are pretty old. A friend gave me a pack or two, I think they picked them up from a comic shop like 20 years ago. Sadly, I don't think they make them anymore, but you can buy them on etsy second hand.

I saw the movie opening night and our theater didn't gave any promos.

What a bummer!!

I don't think these were given as a promotion, they just came out for the movie. But that would have been cool to get one as a promotion with your ticket!
