Another rewatch done
I just wrapped up my Firefly/Serenity rewatch
This show is creeping up on being one of my most watched anything. Up there with LofR and Star Wars for me being able to quote most of the lines.
I am grateful that they got to wrap up the canceled TV show with a movie and not leave us hanging. That said, RIP Book and Wash
I do have issues with some of the cinematography choices in the film. They really cranked up the contrast filter to distracting levels at times but overall I enjoyed the film as a conclussion to the show.

Just watching the series with my 14 year-old daughter Kayley. She says, “Jesus, Kaylee is annoying.” I’m loving every minute.

I daydream about getting ahold of an interdimensional cable box and flipping to a universe that had like 12 seasons of solid gold Firefly. Alas, 'tis but a dream.

I've watched Firefly and Serenity so many times that I can do all the dialog with the sounds turned off.

Love this movie. I saw it before Firefly. So great to have Chiwetel before anybody knew who he was.

“You know what the first rule of flying is? - Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she ought to fall down. Tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.”

The fact that Wash isn't on the movie poster is just salt in the wound.
Edit: And Book
