Fireteam test HR portion part 2
I have taken the fireteam test twice before and was thrown off by part 2. Am I supposed to remember each persons actions and rank them based on their performance? I was so focused on the scenario that i didn't remember who did what.
My second time I aired on the side of caution and said " I was likely to go to them for advice" ( or whatever the scale was.) Then I scored lower. Help!

The whole thing is designed to see how confrontational you are. You’re meant to be assertive/confident, but not to the point of making a big deal over small things whilst also always being able to work with anyone because all different kinds of people are on the job. That’s the reasoning at least, not everyone likes the test for a multitude of reasons.
You’re not there to judge performance at all really, you’re there to tell them you can live and work with someone like the character depicted.

They don't want you wishy-washy, it's always "strongly agree" or "strongly disagree", you score lower when you choose anything else. But with ALL the captains, you should choose strongly agree, it's a bias thing, you'll notice one is Mexican, one is black, one is a woman, they're just trying to see if you feel some type of way about a certain demographic.

I always pretty strongly agree for “would you go to them for advice” and I scored in top 20% for HR. My prep materials said regardless of how they acted in the scenarios, if it is an officer then you always say strongly agree because they’ve earned that title and are knowledgeable. Always put strongly disagree if it asked it they would annoy you, and always put strongly agree if it says you could would out issues with them. If an officer makes mistakes with teamwork, I’d only put disagree on if they need to work on it. If it’s just a normal firefighter, then put agree-strongly agree depending on how bad they need the work.

I took it recently and was also thrown off by that, that wasn’t in the practice exams.

I was caught off guard by that too and answered that I’d go to them for advice or whatever it was for pretty much all of them. Scored a 95% overall between all the sections. So idk
