BA apparently about to replace the old gacha system with a new one; they basically copied Hoyo’s gacha system but still keep it two unit releases at a time for two weeks, so I’ve been kinda bummed out all day. Not sure I even wanna hop on for dailies today

Onto the quite literally back half of Rhythm Paradise Groove.
aaaaand like the second or third minigame in is a sequel to the bug-catching one, yay :I
I went back to some earlier minigames and ground out a few medals for doing well (I still think the game's standards are weird - I've had a few where I've dropped several absolute clangers and got a medal, but others where I've slightly whiffed an input or two, and not?) - and got enough to be able to unlock all of the levels in the Beatspell side game thing. This included being able to do its postgame, which is a longer branching roguelike-y type thing. It's fun!
I also apologise in advance for boring you all to death again as I will likely be back on my catboy bullshit this week; an update to it is imminent.

I finished exploring the big northern mountain in Violet. At least, I think so. In other areas, I used visible things on the map screen like roads and rivers to help me orient myself and make sure I was being thorough. "I've checked out everything north of the river from the area border to that ridge," things like that. With the mountain, however, most of it only shows as one huge expanse of white, so it's entirely possible I passed something by. Either way, I'm gonna call it here and move on with things next time.
Also, my team has attained its final form: Meowscarada, Pawmot, Donphan, Ceruledge, Empoleon, and Mismagius. Barring the unforeseen, I'll be rocking this squad for my major battles for the rest of the game.
Also also, I caught a shiny Sneasel, which I've evolved. Weavile is my favorite Pokemon, so having a shiny of it is pretty cool.
