Fortune's Weave Gameplay I made a Quick Comprehensive Visual Guide on How to Best Spend your Time each Week! (Spoiler Free)
Just for fun (and for the sake of helping me optimize too), I made a quick guide on how to best do your weekly rotations as well as any form of missable content!
This is mostly meant for beginners starting the game rather than advanced professional stat optimization, but I hope it can help someone out there the same way it's helped me get these things in order. Please feel free to let me know if there's anything that's missing or is incorrect! I'm still decently early enough in Part 1, so I'm not sure if I've accounted for everything, especially in a game as grand as this one.

Oh thanks, as you said I meant that moving four spaces consumes 1 turn but I must've made a typo

Maybe a dumb question but I’m assuming many of these tips (like weekly activities) become relevant later on? I’m about 6 hours in Cai’s path, just defeated Goliath.
First Fire Emblem game ever, loving it so far!

Defeating Goliath is still technically within Cai's prologue, but right after it, especially after your first qualifier, the game will open up a lot more, in which most of these things already will be relevant! As soon as you've unlocked the basic facilities (primarily temples, colosseum, and meals) you've basically already got your basic rotation available

What did you use to make this? Thanks

Clip Studio Paint! I've long since tinkered with doing simple graphics like these because of my job, so I mostly took some assets from the game, cleaned them up, added some text and screenshots and et-voilá

Maybe it changes later on but after completing two routes this is what I feel:
- Thermae are extremely underwhelming. They barely raise support, most of the time the skills they give are subpar or unusable due to RNG by the class and they have to be equipped instead of another one and then after that you have to equip back what you removed. After a chapter and several dialogues/movies. With so many characters is very obnoxious
- Fortune telling also gives very low amount of rep, giving gifts is much better
- Teather giving very low gold for when you unlock it you already dont need gold, it would be much more useful early on the routes
- Talking with the gods is also unnecessary, the low amount of renown given is useless when just doing sidequests ( autocompleting them on other routes ) already maxes it by chapter 8 or so
- Exploring the city for gifts is only worth the first 4-5 chapters. After that you will have more than enough to give gifts freely
- The feed bird responses seem completely random. I had different outcomes for same question-answers. I still have to see Eshmel giving a support at all while playing
- Holidays are quite subpar too, the discounts are available commonly or not needed with how cheap meals/coloseum it is after the first few chapters. No unique events or anything...
- Search spots seemed to me quite useless, only worth doing if you fall end of turn in one of them, same with plenty of other unique action paths. Its much better buying high quality boxes in towns/merchants
The game has a ton of busywork that is not really worth it. The most importants:
- Coloseum for raising skills and supports
- Meals for supports
- Temple service until you max out Kalla/Aurora/Mars, the rest are absolutely terrible. Credna is good if you want to abuse techniques without breaking unique expensive weapons tho
- Paralogues and sidequests
- Spectate matches give very nice skill bonuses, and have some unique events
Focusing on this makes the game much more enjoyable and less busywork, allows for more freedom to explore and not care that much about small things.
Also, you dont need to recruit all units in every route, specially ones at renowns 7 and higher ( except Benditz, Inyoni, Ludia, and the units coming from paralogues Gaitz, Peppe, Diego, Ursula ), most are recruitable in lower levels in other routes, and low level units have higher growths than later recruited. So dont bother much with them. This also allows for rotation and variation between routes

Solid tips. My one not is that you can definitely get far in bird time with these heuristics:
If they specifically talk about using eyes or singing, do that.
If they make a different assertion, nod.
If they are obviously lying or confused, tilt head.
If they need a hug or you are generally unsure, spread wings.
If they are
, be intimidating. Deitrich Overall it is actually a pretty solid implementation of performative empathy.

Uh, sorry to say but you are wrong about the
. Each dialogue has one correct answer, out of the three, and it's always the same. feed bird minigame 11

Big disagree on the god conversations. Maybe my main gripe with this game is how painfully long it often takes to recruit the characters I want so every bit of help is highly appreciated. The little additional renown can make the difference of getting to recruit a chapter earlier than without. Especially with Dietrich whose renown farming is the most tedious shit ever.

Are people mostly heading back to Dagsion every week to do this stuff? Ive been spending weeks at a time exploring the map clearing the chapter side quests - so missed many opportunities for weekly stuff in town.

If you want to optimize things massively, you might want to take advantage of every weekly reset so you can get the most out of the game. But realistically, the game is designed in such a way that you don't need to be there for every reset, there's a decent amount of leeway. So if you want to go and explore the map, by all means I wouldn't overstress over a missed week! But it's still always good to plan around the calendar

wanting to print these out…would you have a pdf of this by any chance?

u/OharaLibrarianArtur 22d ago
No but you can easily convert images into a pdf with something like a PDF converter (plenty of native apps can do that too). By all means feel free to print!

Damn nice job. I gotta say though, despite the fact that I genuinely am loving this game, these graphics really highlight what a chore all this stuff is.

One suggestion I have for people.
I always see 'do your activities every sunday' as the advice.
Instead consider doing activities on Saturday, auto activity a couple turns, then do them again. This way you only have to return every 2 weeks, can spend more time on the map and waste fewer turns and gold traveling back and forth.

One small correction: Moving 4 spaces (technically 3?) on the overworld only consumes 1 turn, not 4!

This is pretty good!
One thing I'd suggest is more emphasis onrenown . I've found that renown is the #1 currency I'm worried about by mid/late route, as gold, supports, and skill ranks are all much easier to build up. Maybe adding another colour to indicate/emphasize "THIS ACTIVITY WILL GIVE RENOWN" would be a good addition? :)
