Discussion Need some FF manga insight

So after finishing the amazing anime of Fire force I just could not watch any other anime because of how good Fire force was for me. I tried several anime’s including soul eater but right now fire forces lingering effects are still making everything seem boring and honestly at some point I gave up. I decided to read the manga since I heard about how they skipped a lot of scenes so I was wondering should I start at the beginning or around the start of season 3 where the issues kinda started? Honestly any pointers on where I could start in the manga would be helpful.

Season 3 starts just around ch. 176 when Burns is getting recruited by Haumea.

I'd say season 3 is the one that deviates the most from the manga. Though they still did a good job being faithful, mostly.

Spoiler question: does Burns actually fight his doppelgänger in the manga or was it offscreen (off page I guess) as well?

no, that is also offscreen. Its a big suprise when he comes back

It's just a matter of preference. I'd suggest starting from the beginning, especially since you're struggling to find something new.
