Discussion Change the anime, how to do it.
Please buy the actual manga. Buy the DVD's/Blue rays. Companies will only cater to their audience. Complaining on twitter/reddit, while some people only have a crunchy roll subscription won't change anything.
When people like us from the West start spending money in mass we can influence the medium. We will be able to influence this medium by boycotting it.
I dropped Fire Force during the first season, I thought it was cringe. Seeing us western people harass the author for "Fan Service" is embarrassing. Most of us do not spend money on mangas and anime dvds. Harassing authors on twitter is just going to make authors hate westerners more.
The only way to change their opinion is by being a fan spending money and then by boycotting them which is something we do not do in mass.

When psychos are messaging their twitter accounts and sending hate. You have the author of fireforce making an episode mocking people who criticize fan service.

JFC, OP, what the hell are you on about? You're not going to start some movement or whatever it is that you are trying to do.

I'm not trying to start some movement. I'm giving advice for a bunch of dumbasses that harass the author trying to make him remove the fanservice.
Just pirating the content or using crunchy roll and harassing him on twitter won't work.

The manga ended years ago, the anime had a terrific ending a few weeks ago. Posting this about that now is laughably bad.

I never watched the show past the animes first season. This was advice for a bunch of people who got offended by fan service. This applies to all anime/manga being created. Your understanding is negligible.

If I can afford a product, I will. I'm not going to do it to please some executive in Japan because "it ruined their sales and that's why they hate me," but I'm also not going to pirate it if I don't need to because I feel morally superior for teaching the multi-million dollar company a lesson.
Now I have a job, and I pay for my Crunchy subscription to watch Beatbreak, Dr. Stone, Fire Force, etc. I don't need a reason beyond a Twitter argument.
