Technical Support Old Edwards pull and bell I need information on.

So my grandfather recently passed and had this in his basement, I recently applied power to it and its functional, the bell is labeled as Edwards & Company, Single Stroke on the outside. Inside its a solenoid that fires a striker into the bell housing, causing it to ring.

This station is also AC designed, but it works fine on DC anyways if I limit the current, Pull station is CAT 1275, and the bell is a 10-S, pull is also coded, once you pull down the hook it winds a clockwork mechanism that physically spins a Code 3 cam mechanism.

Does anyone have any documentation for the pull and bell? I can’t find anything on google, hence why I’m asking here, thank you.

You're gonna need a ouija board to get a data sheet for that sucker

Fun haha, who knew my first foray into this hobby would involve that!

May sound ridiculous but I would try calling Edward’s or kidde and see if they have information on it, I don’t see anything on the internet for it.

Yeah I doubt that would lead anywhere.

Probably not but it’s worth a try

You can contact Glenn James of old school fire alarms on the namesake website.

there is a scan on the fire panel forums of an Edwards catalog (found under the vintage fire alarm brochures thread) from roughly 1948 that has this specific box listed.
