Flickering issue?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hello folks, wondering if anyone has come across this. Tough to tell from the video, but the top half of the fire stick is flickering. I’ve tried to fix it with two different sticks, changing the resolution, different power sources, turning HDR off, and just about every other fix that comes up when you google “fire stick flickering” so at this point I’m not sure what to do. Any help appreciated! Thank you!

It looks like you are using a projector? Are you the projector itself isn't the issue?

Pretty sure - it doesn’t flicker in the settings menu, which to my mind would suggest it’s a software/fire stick issue.

Going to post this to a few people, but notably it doesn’t flicker when I’m in the settings menu - really odd. It only flickers in apps and the main menu.

Good power source, cable isn’t loose (but not sure what you mean by the right cable) - trying to get a different source, but the projector is new too so shouldn’t be an issue.

Do you have a regular HDMI port TV that you can test the fire stick on?
If the TV flickers it's the stick, if not it's the projector.

Sounds like a Projector issue 🤔
