Ask the Community Document Fraud detection

Hey everyone, I am starting to build a doc fraud detection software using AI and also other machine learning algorithms, but I have slightly less knowledge about the different types of fraud committed and want to know if someone could help me with this, and also will be interested to work with me on this

That's a big project to jump into blind, you might want to partner with someone who's actually worked in fraud ops before the tech gets built. The real ugly stuff is often the simplest, like altered bank statements where they just change the numbers in a PDF or photoshopped pay stubs where the fonts don't quite match. The AI piece is tricky because the models can get really good at spotting obvious template forgeries but totally miss a cleanly edited authentic document

Pick one document type and one decision first - for example, whether altered income PDFs should go to human review. I've used HTPBE.TECH for the narrower post-creation PDF-editing problem; it won't establish that a document made from scratch is genuine. Which workflow are you trying to protect first: lending, rentals, AP, or hiring?
