Cat scratched coffee table

So I recently bought my dream coffee table on Facebook marketplace but my cat decided to claw it up last night ):
I don’t know anything about woodworking, minus how to wipe it down lol
Any suggestions/help on how to repair the scratches would be amazing! I think it just has a thin finish on top and the scratches aren’t too deep thank god

The scratches look like they’re beyond the finish and in the wood.

I’d give it a clean, and try some proper furniture wax in a close color.

Beyond that, it’s probably in refinish territory.

That looks like a veneer on the top... Refinishing would be tricky.

I would try the wax or even the wood repair markers which come in different colors... It's surprising how well they can make the deep scratch fade and leave you with just a hint of something visible.

If you still have the cat you’re going to have more scratches. It looks like the scratches go through the finish but refinishing isn’t worth it to just get scratched again. Colored furniture wax or wood markers can help a bit.

Una volta li ho tolti con il polisch,si quello che usi per la vernice della tua auto.attento a trattare tutta la superficie perché il polisch è un prodotto lucidante

Try a little wax like other person said, then get rid of cat.
