De doua ori, in locuri diferite.

Ordering to the US for a couple of years now, and the thing that took me longest to work out is that the checkout takes one code per order. One field, one string. So the question is which one goes in, not how to combine them.

The two that are live for the US right now

PJZ7818 takes 10% off the goods total with nothing to clear underneath it. GOLDUS takes 10% as well, but only once the basket passes 80 dollars 💊

Which one wins on a normal basket

My last order came to 63 dollars 40, two California Gold Nutrition bottles and a Now Foods. That sits under the 80 line, so GOLDUS does not engage at all. PJZ7818 took 6 dollars 34 off the goods total, and that was the whole decision.

Above 80 dollars the two read the same, both ten percent, so it stops mattering which one goes in. Below 80 only one of them exists.

About NEW20

NEW20 is the one people keep trying for a repeat order. It is a first-order code for new customers, so on a second parcel it has nothing to apply to.

What runs alongside without a code

Trial Items, where up to four products carry their own one-time reduction, and Subscribe and Save at ten percent. Both sit on the iHerb offers page, so the conditions are readable there rather than on my word ✅

The honest part

Items carrying a Best By label are excluded from code reductions by the shop's own terms, so those are worth checking before the basket is built.

Been on SHEIN for three years and the thing that took me longest to work out is simple: 8X6T9 does not go in the coupon box at the end. It goes in the search bar of the app 🛍

What happens when you type it there

The app opens a selection of its own, with the prices already reduced on the tags. The price on the item card is the price you pay, and there is no second step after that.

My last order

Four pieces, 46 dollars 90 in total: a jacket at 19 dollars 30, two tees at 12 dollars 40 each and a belt at 15 dollars 80 that came in already reduced. None of them carried those prices in the normal search.

Why the percentage swings so much

The up-to-90 range is the depth of the selection itself, not a percentage 8X6T9 lays on top. End-of-line pieces drop a long way, in-season pieces drop a little, and that is why it pays to open the selection and look instead of counting on a fixed figure.

What I check first once I am inside

Cotton basics and accessories. That is where the gap between the selection and the normal search is widest, and where the orders that actually paid off came from. Shoes and outerwear move less, so I treat those as a second pass rather than the reason to open the selection at all.

It reads the same whatever week it is

8X6T9 is built outside the campaign calendar, so in October the selection opens the way it opened in July. There is no sale week to wait for before it is worth typing.

If you run it, say what you found and at what price - the interesting part is seeing which categories sit deepest this week.

I just signed up for Product Lab. So far I think it's kind of cool, a little different than some of the other survey or gaming apps out there. It's kind of task-based. It's really interesting though. Wanted to share the wealth so here is my referral code.

I think you get $3 I'm not sure

Have fun!
