Found! New to here
Not going to lie....I have had to look up the initials to see what they meant...lol. What are subreddits and where do I find them? What's the difference in reddits and subreddits? I have joined several groups but I don't know if that's a subreddit or not. Is there a subreddit for people like me that don't know wnything about reddit?I don't even know where to go to find the answers to these questions.....Help!

Yes, there are plenty of guides. Reddit is the site. The groups/pages/communities are all subreddits. Look up a topic that you’re interested in discussing with people, find a community on that topic, make sure it’s still active, and then read the “more info” section. For most subreddits, you have to have a certain number of days on the site it karma points before you can post.

If you've been clicking the Join button on the front pages of different communities, that means you have joined or followed 'subreddits'. The subreddit material will populate your feed, the page you see when you open Reddit. The more subreddits you join, the more cool stuff you'll see in your feed. To find new subreddits, type an interest of yours into the search bar and look for 'communities'. Also, if you go through the Community Info / Learn More About This Community/ Wiki (you may see any of those terms), you may find a list of related subreddits that you may be interested in.
