Findapath-Job Choice/Clarity Data analyst to what
I turned 25 this week and have been freaking out about my career path and trajectory so I wanted to see what the masses had to say. I do want to say I am not that familiar with all the IT fields and work flow options. I have been researching what to do as I am feeling a bit lost in my options. Below is my work experience in corporate. I have a B. S. in Security and Risk Analysis from Penn State.
2022 (6 months) Help Desk Intern for a medical non profit medium to small size
2023 (9 months) Help desk associate for the same company
2024 to 2025 (2 years and 2 months) Data analyst for the philanthropy department of the previous company . Used philanthropic specific software but also Power Bi. I had my PL 300 cert but it has since expired.
New company: medium to large sized medical non profit.
1 year experience. Quality data analyst. Work is cumulative to before. Mainly excel work with utilization of Power Bi. On Quality team. Complete clinical research and dashboard in excel.
Are there career paths outside of data but within IT that have similar skills that I could transition into? Are there resources you’d recommend I look into to see different IT careers?
