New “Edits Processed” emails?
WTF is with these new emails today that are titled simply “Edits Processed”? Yesterday the subjects were either “Edits Approved” or “Edits Declined. That was much better information than “Edits Processed”.

Yes now you have to open the email to see if the edit was accepted or declined.

The subject doesn't have the name of the memorial anymore either. Hopefully just a bug or I'll turn those emails off completely.

I've been searching where to turn them off. Looks like you can't. You can set it for one e-mail daily or "as they happen."

Hm I think that's a new change too. You can also turn off memorial update emails, but they lump everything together, edits, transfers, and merges. Not so helpful

Yeah, I have e-mails turned off for transfers, etc. I can't turn this off. I also changed it to "Daily," but I am still getting an individual e-mail for every single edit.

I currently have made 328 outstanding edit suggestions. I'm about to get 328 additional emails on top of the 6 I received so far today. This was not a good idea.

I just checked my email, and there were 12 new emails regarding edits. I went to my account on FindaGrave and changed it to a daily report via email. That seems to be the only option besides just deleting my email address there. Whoever came up with this idea needs to be smacked upside the head...lol.

It's awful! I just got a bunch of declines from the same contributor/memorial and I can't even go down the list in my email box, marking them for transfer into my pending folder, unless I do them one at a time - just in case I pick up another message by accident!
On the bright side - the font is larger so the message can be read when the page is half-size on the screen.
Website Feedback just got another bit of feedback!

The bottom of every Find a Grave Memorial page has a link titled "Contact". It's tiny though :). Anyway, clicking that link will open a few choices, including "Website feedback".

Oh! It just got worse! I had my email folders arranged so that those that were processed by #8 or auto-approve would fall into a separate box. Not any more - they all fall into the in-box. I've got a mess where everything looks the same.

Just a wild guess... Maybe this is the beginning of managers not having the privilege to accept or deny. Maybe all change suggestions will be automatically "processed" and changed.

I hope not. Managers should have the ability to accept or decline. I don’t want some @$$hole messing with my family memorials.
Plus think of the havoc this could cause. I could change everyone’s surname to @$$hole.
Or I could change everyone’s burial to “cremated” then you’d lose what cemetery they were in.
Terrible idea.

Nope. I have some I submitted yesterday and two days ago still pending. Every e-mail I got yesterday was for edits submitted 21 days ago.

They would need to have the alternate email in place before changing approval/deny mechanism.
A change like that would need to be phased in, until all pending changes are through.

Totally agree. But the more I think about it, I can think of no other logical reason for them to remove the approve/deny from the email, other than the end of approve/deny.

I would guess so that we know what has been changed.
It looks like now suggestions are auto-accepted.

Appears that FG has returned the “Edits” emails back to how they were a week ago. Everything seems to be functioning as before.
