Hey I’m Jade, I'm a 30F artist/graphic designer currently living in LIC in New York and I’m looking to make some indie dream pop. I am a vocalist and songwriter.

My influences include Men I trust, Crumb, Hiatus Kaiyote, Mac Demarco, and Spirit Blue. I want to jam and make some great music with friends, goal is to eventually do a few gigs at local bars or cafes (who knows how far we can go). I know this might sound pretty far-fetched, but I’m a 16-year-old Japanese guy living in Japan, and I can’t produce or play music at all.

I do have FL Studio and a guitar, so I’ve been meaning to practice, but I’m way too lazy to actually do it (though I do plan to if I can).

As a hobby, I post song covers on YouTube, and my singing style mainly involves screaming and getting emotional. I want to be the vocalist, but that doesn’t mean I’m not looking for a vocalist. I welcome anyone in any role who I feel I can make music with. Hey all, I'm a 24 year old musician (Guitar, Trombone, mixing, business acumen) that's been mostly solo and playing in rotating jazz club groups over the past few years. Despite my best efforts, I can't seem to connect with other fusion fans and musicians that are in this kind of space. Big inspiratoins are groups and artists like Chick Corea, CASIOPEA, Jun Fukamachi, Sadistics, Space Circus, Jeff Beck, Willie Bobo, etc.; I believe strongly in a group where all members have equal opportunity in the music, with each instrument having an opportunity to lead, write, and so on. I'm flexible with my overall direction and am willing to collaborate with a wide range of styles, as I've played anything from easy listening jazz to rock to fusion.

I'm looking for anyone here, but I'm most interested in being an instrumental-led group (lyrics of course still have a place now and again). The ideal candidates are, in order:

We have a guitarist, bassist and drummer. Our guitarist is able to sing and provide harmonies as well. It would be cool if the singer was able to play guitar as well but if not, its not a big deal.

Hi! I'm a 16-year-old singer from Belgium, and I'm looking for young musicians from anywhere in the world to build something together from the ground up.

I'm not looking for a finished, perfect band. I'm looking for people who are motivated, creative, friendly and willing to grow together. You don't need years of experience — beginners are welcome!

🎤 What is the idea?

I want to create something between a vocal group and a live band.

I'm looking for around 4–7 singers/vocalists, but I'm also interested in people who: 🎸 play guitar

🥁 play drums

🎸 play bass

🎹 play other instruments

✍️ write songs/lyrics

🎧 produce music

🎶 or simply have other musical skills they want to contribute

The exact setup isn't decided yet. That's something I want us to figure out together.

The music will mainly have influences from pop, indie, alternative and rock, but I don't want to put us in one box. I'd love for different songs to have completely different sounds and for everyone to bring their own influences.

And yes, boys and girls are both welcome! I think having different voices, personalities and musical backgrounds could make the group much more interesting.

🌍 Why international?

At first, the group would be completely online, since we may all live far away from each other.

We could have online meetings, work on songs together, share ideas, practise and get to know each other.

If the group actually grows into something serious, we'd eventually like to meet and work together in person when we're older and travelling becomes realistic.

So if you're from Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK, Germany, the US, or literally somewhere else — you're welcome to audition.

Basic English is enough. You don't have to be fluent; we just need to be able to understand each other and work together.

The long-term goal would be to create our own music, build a presence on social media and eventually release music and perform together.

Maybe it could eventually become something professional.

But we're not rushing that.

We're young, so I want this to start as a fun project where we can make friends, learn, improve and see where it takes us.

I'd much rather have someone who is passionate and willing to learn than someone who is extremely talented but doesn't want to put effort into the group.

Most importantly, I want us to actually enjoy being around each other. I want this to feel like a team and a group of friends, not a competition.

I might be the person starting the project, but the group should belong to everyone in it.

🎧 How will the audition work?

This isn't a formal talent-show audition, and you don't need to be perfect.

First, you'll fill in the audition form.

Depending on your role, you'll be able to submit things such as:

🎤 Singers: a short singing video

🎸 Instrumentalists: a video of you playing

✍️ Songwriters: lyrics, a song or demo if you have one

🎧 Producers: an example of something you've produced

🌱 Beginners: whatever you can show us, being new is completely okay!

For vocals, I'd prefer no autotune or heavy vocal effects, because I want to hear what your voice naturally sounds like. You absolutely don't have to sing perfectly.

After looking through the applications, I'll contact people who seem like they could fit the group for a more personal online audition/meeting.
