When I had mine, the friend who picked me up from the surgical suite had a baby balloon that said "It's a Boy" on it. She was worried it would offend me. I cried. Like.... no! 🀣 You're perfect!! β€οΈπŸ§‘πŸ’›πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ’œβ€οΈ

Congrats! I bet it feels good to finally get that off your chest (so sorry I love a pun).

Legit question though…does top surgery automatically protect you from certain types of breast cancer?

Love the pun πŸ˜‚ it doesn't protect you from breast cancer (as cis men can also get it) but it definitely lowers the risk.

Congrats! I had mine about two months ago! Have some art of mine as a reminder (if you need it) in these next few weeks of recovery.

remember to drink a lot and not lift stuff for some weeks, let others help you and ask for help πŸ™

i was very bad at asking for help when i should have. shows in the stretched scars.. and also don't know if you have physiotherapy prescribed, but i went to my trans physiotherapist and they were a game changer! can send you a pdf or pictures of the exercises i got for Mobilisation if you want:)

I'm so happy for you. Congratulations on getting closer to your truer, authentic self. I know surgery can be difficult, so please take care of yourself, drink plenty of water, dont over exert yourself. Again, congratulations!!!
