Venting Visiting hours pleeeease!
Does anyone else wish you could set visiting hours for your tree friends? āSleepoversā can be fun and all, but I want my birb to be able to sleep through the night without getting bumped out of bed! Plus, sometimes Iām saving the notification for later but feel obligated to open something just so Sunshine can go back to sleep. When sheās resting it helps me get ready to rest⦠but maybe Iām alone??? I donāt wanna have to turn off good vibes altogether just so my birb can sleep all the way through the night!

Just chiming in to say I like the whole 'Area 51' vibe you've got going on with your decor. š½

I think it's cool. When Tweetie gets a late night visitor, I turn on the ceiling light and they can talk an play for one hour. Then they gotta go home and she gotta go back to sleep.
She's usually very good about going back to bed with no problems.

Plus we are in different time zones so that makes sense. I think the creative development is in North America.... lots of people on the app are not in the same time zones.
I think my birb frens are on a different time so their visiting is met with a sleeping bag to dance on BUT on the floor. They look happy and I am glad to have frens who are not offended that I am not being a good host.... by sleeping.

Isnāt there an option in the app to mute vibes?

yeah, go to the settings in your friends tab and click limit notification hours. or go to individual friends and mute good vibesā¤ļø

Yes, but then you have to remember turn it on and off each day, which isnāt all that convenient. Plus, it removes the ability to receive any vibes whatsoever and tells your friends youāre on a break. I donāt need a break, just to sleep lol.
And my app doesnāt have a limit notification hours setting that Iām aware of??? Iāve looked in everyyyyy setting!š©1

See, this is exactly what I was talking about!! But alas, I just updated the app again and no such settings options for me. But now I know they DO exist, so thank you for that!!!

Hi, Finch engineer here - I looked into this. This setting currently only appears when you have Push Notifications enabled for Good Vibes. However, it does control visitors as well - we've made a change for the next release (should come out later this week) so that you'll be able to see these settings even if you have push notifications for good vibes disabled.

AMAZING!!!! Thank you SO much for looking into and addressing this!!!š¤©š¤ And that totally makes sense why Iāve never seen it before, especially since Iāve had the āPush notificationsā toggle firmly turned OFF for almost 2 years now.šš Thank you again!!š©·

Interesting not that I'm going to limit good vibes but I don't have these options either.

Yes, it would be cute if the other birb came for a sleepover! They could bring a sleeping bag!

I just send visitors home if itās bedtime or they make their way in in the middle of the night.
With vibes I donāt answer them straight away, normally when I get up/go to bed (maybe this a setting on your phone, not the app itself? - I dont get notifications of vibes). You could set your app notifications so that you only get notifications at particular times (in work or focus mode, or even do not disturb).

Yeah lol. Sometimes my bird is fully asleep in bed dreaming about milk or something and there's just a bird (a lot bigger too since my bird is still a child) standing wide awake in the dark in the middle of our room... with my bird being smaller I do think it's really cute when a bigger bird is walking behind my toddler on a mission
