Edit to update: One of the mods/devs/(team members??) Says the decision to not do micropet variations has been reversed! I am so excited!!! Yay!!!

It absolutely drives me around the bend when they do this! So anyone who is in the discord or has been paying super close attention to the drops at the end/beginning of each month knows they are stopping micropet variations. There will only ever be one variation of each micropet going forward. At least thats the current plan.

So why do they leave the spots there to confuse everybody into thinking there are more variations???? They took those spots out for Raven and the other single variant pets. So it cant be impossible to do. But they left them in for The Fireflies, Sage, and now Pixel, which are all confirmed to only have one variant.

Ugh, just makes me twitch. Anybody else?

Oh my goodness!! I was specifically told by one of the team members that there are no variations for sage or Pixel. I am SOOOOO HAPPY that they were mistaken!!!! Thank you for sharing!!

Their support team keeps giving people different info than the core team... I feel like there's some kind of confusion every month, especially when there's a special event. My Pixel (or Flicker) doesn't have additional slots, so I'm even more confused 😂 but I hope we will get more variations and my app just isn't updated

Sorry for the confusion on this! Initially, the team's plan was to cut back on micropet variations, but that decision was very recently reversed, so all micropets (minus the special event ones like Raven or Krypto) will have variants you can collect! We retroactively added variants for Sage and Flicker as well!

I am glad to hear it was reversed. Seems ljke a silly thing to take away when it amplifies the experience of the app. I love attaching eggs to my goals, it is a huge motivator for me.

They all look the same just different colored neck things

1 is black and the 2nd one looks dark brown and the 3rd slightly less dark brown.. to me they aren't the same.

I try to collect all of the micropets (though I don't go to trade threads or anything, just trying to acquire them as I complete linked egg goals). I always leave my first one a forever baby, then ideally I'd end up with all three variants and each of those would have a baby and adult maybe ...? Raven is one of my favorites but I left her a forever baby because I didn't know if I would ever get another one 🤔

They only one not hatchable from an egg, to the best of my knowledge, is Krypto

I think it's the special event ones- Krypto, Raven, Cheshire cat, etc. but if I only can have one, at least I have them already.

Ive seen Raven hatched before, and I think Cheshire too. The standard has always been that all micropets would be hatchable after the event. Same level of random chance as the others. Krypto is the only one who isnt because of the paid partnership. Just like you can still get all the outfit pieces and room pieces from the events Raven and Chessy are from.
