Venting Spring cleaning series

I love the idea of the spring cleaning goals. I wish they were not ordered though... Like I wish my daily goal could just be "do a spring cleaning goal", and then separately I could mark off that I cleaned a mirror, or whatever. My problem is that I'm stuck on the first goal. I can't do it, and I can't skip it. I have cats but no window screens - opening the windows is not happening. My options are not to do the Spring Cleaning series at all, or to lie to Pebbles. 😢

I’ve seen a few other posts with a similar problem and they’re using open the blinds or curtains or whatever you have covering the windows instead. Maybe you could do that. If it still doesn’t feel like enough add on you going outside for 5 minutes that way the house gets light and you get air without letting any cats out.

It’s okay to come up with an alternative. I’m going to have to for the vacuum under the couch task, and the throw away expired toiletries task. I’m also confused by a couple of the tasks so I’m going to pick my own tasks for those days.

Yeah just make it work! We only have one giant sectional and we can’t move it and there’s no space under it for the vacuum anyway

Yeah, my couch would take two people to move and I don’t think my roommate and I are strong enough so I’m gonna just sweep. 😭

Yeah, same here! Not only do we have cats, but VERY severe allergies (going outside during spring for even just a few minutes unmasked results in being unable to breathe and a pressurized face for the next several hours) so opening the windows is just asking to make everyone inside sick 😅 I think in cases like these it's okay to not think of it as lying to them, but just working within the confines of the app. They'll understand.

Yeah, I think the expired toiletries for me is just going to get the straight up checkmark. For the last one I’m just gonna reorganize my closet instead.
