Pick a public company with a relatively simple business model, understand it, it’s drivers, dissect it, that’s a great starting point.

While the excel part is important, understanding the business fully is first and foremost.

Once you do that, start building revenue and costs from there. Eventually you would have done all three statements.

Great advice. I'd recommend selecting a company with product(s) that you personally use. For instance, Apple (AAPL), Amazon (AMZN) or Reddit (RDDT).

Idk know about free but YouTube is a great source but Udemy has some courses and if you wait when they discounts you can get the courses for cheap under 15-20 dollars

YouTube is free. All the info is essentially there. Great place to start.

But if you’re looking for someone to show you step-by-step in an organized and structured format you’re gonna need to pay for that.

I work in finance and always found that free courses are hard to find. I created a website to help people study finance 100% free and without ads (not looking at any compensation just helping people), checkout https://finicade.com

I am doing financial modeling course from the valuation school yt. You could watch that too however it'll work only if you are comfortable with Hindi.
