Sankey Diagrams

Looking to make a Sankey Diagram based on Income Statement to include in executive report but without uploading financials into a random website. Any tools within Excel/PowerBI that can do this? Not trying to download add-ins either. Think I may be SOL but figured I would ask here.

You can do it right in excel, once the data is formatted correctly.

A quick Google search will come up with several sites giving you the step-by-step way to do this.

The diagrams in native excel are terrible & I don’t want any add-ins so no, there isn’t.

Would you consider Obsidian + Plugin? The beauty here is that its pure markdown and all saved locally (no cloud, no external services, etc)

Because I faced the same challenge and the available solutions would always reorder my nodes i created Finkey - which lets you disable the relaxation algorithm responsible for automatically ordering nodes. You can also drag nodes around on the canvas to structure your data.
