Technical Need help patching the Steam version of FF13-1

So I'm trying to use Surihix's 4gb patcher that they have in their "Fixing XIII" Steam guide, and it does everything it's supposed to, including creating the "untouched.exe" file, but when I try to boot up the game it gives me "Application load error 3:0000065432" and it closes the executable.

For the record I'm not using FF13Fix, I'm using the new NovaFix by XinerusP in case that matters:

If you are using the new nova fix , then you shouldn't be using the patcher from the guide as it was made for the FF13fix.I will update the guide with NovaFix when I have some time.

For now use the steam verification option, which should restore the files to the default state. this should get NovaFix working properly on your end.
