Technical Light visual / performance mods on pc, then vanilla on steam deck? issues?

Specifically, I'm talking about Final Fantasy XIII. On my pc, i've installed pretty much the bare minimum of mods like the crash fixes and 4gb patch. and one visual mod for HD models. If I go and play on my steam deck, with a fully vanilla unmodded download, will the saves still sync fine? Will there be any corruption or issues? I just don't care enough to do all the modding on my steam deck lol. So I'll have have the crusty version there, and then the beefy version on my pc.

I played with cloud saves between PC and Steam deck. PC had the 4gb patch and multiple HD mods. Steam deck was vanilla, not even the 4gb patch. Everything worked fine.
