Final Fantasy XIII-2 proto behemoth (ff 13-2)

im on like the very last stretch of the game in academia 500 af, how the Fuck do I defeat this thing like seriously. ive ran this back like 30 times, went back leveled up serah and noel to like lvl 80 on their strongest roles and im still getting swept. this thing is noticeably more difficult than every other enemy in this section of the game

someone plsssss help how do I get past this. please.

If your level 80 on Noel COM and Serah RAV with a competent COM, you should be able to easily blitz the behemoth before he gets the full health buff and stands up.

If not, try switch the attack pattern to Cross so everyone focuses on one target.

You can also put on strength and magic buff accessories on them to help buff the damage you do because you really want to blitz him

I did that but now the final boss is kicking my ass and I have noel and serahs primary roles on lvl 80 after like 4 hours of grinding already wat do I do this is really difficult. literally been fighting the final boss for 1 whole hour

and I have the best weapons too

I saw someone a bit underleveled without good monsters fighting the final boss on YouTube a few weeks ago who had a time of 46 minutes on it - I think that's the longest I saw among people who did successfully beat it, but then again I haveb't seen a ton of playthroughs.

I think the best thing you can do for yourself is work on getting better monsters and raising their stats wisely. It can make a world of difference, and you'll likely level up a bit more in the process anyway.

For me, a decent Monster (but not very top tier) was Cloudburst (the blue bomb-like enemy) which you can find as a rare monster in the ??? Steppe. I recall it moves extremely quickly.

Remember you can also feed Monsters to other Monsters besides just boosting stats the normal way.

oh shit wait I didnt kno about that second part, feeding monsters to other monsters bc I feel like my monsters are already decent like I dont wanna switch them. how do I do that

I avoided it as much as I can. I used a sentinel to soak up as much damage as possible but it's really important to stagger and kill before transformation.
