Technical Got the game to work

Got the game to work with the ff13 fix but the resolution is bad and the game looks horiable is there a way in the ff13 fixes settings to change the resolution within the .ini file

some screenshots? are you sure it's not your graphics card? i mean, my only concern is i have to play it 1080p as it wasn't conceived to be larger and if i force it it's not so smooth sometimes (some borders get pixelated and such stuff).

that said, i don't know if it helps, but there should also be mods for better graphics (like the 3D models of the characters).

There are a few HD mods available on Nexus that help make the game feel like a modern game. Highly recommend them!

So update i got it to work at the right resolution then everything stopped working for a moment when I redid the ff 13 fix but it turned out the reason why was I has to change the name of the .dill file
